Thinking about renting a truck occasionally to make deliveries that I don’t have time to do with the semi. Non Hazmat. One day rental per week, at most.
I know I’ll need a driver qualification file, log book, med card, etc. no CDL, so no drug consortium or clearinghouse.
So far, so good.
How do I deal with the truck paperwork? Annual inspection, maintenance records, pre / post trip inspection? Triangles, fire extinguisher? Magnetic sign with DOT# and name on the doors?
Since we’re dealing with Arizona and over 10K, trip permits or?
What else am I missing?
U26,000, interstate, rental trucks....

Bean Jr. Thanks this.

I'm not sure you even have to have a medical card and driver file for that driver. -
Have you priced rental trucks lately?
