I just got asked to help out on the ConAgra dedicated account running from York, PA to Milton, PA, back and forth lots and lots. Probably just for a couple of weeks.
Is it just me or should i be very scared? LOL. Pay is supposed to be exactly what i make on my very very best weeks, but they werent clear with me on whether it was milage pay or not. But if it is, it doesnt sound like it should be hard to get serious miles at all.
Anyone else ever run this account? Whatcha think?
Heh, just went dedicated at werner

Redd, I am, but they needed temporary help on this account and asked if i wanted to, and....what am i going to do? Say no, i dont want to make more money?
Plus ill be able to stop every hour, and i never stop that much -
From the guys I talked to around here Con Agra was ok at best. They had spent a lot of time sitting and then unreal appointment times to deliver. They were actually running over the road and not doing shuttle like it sounds like you are doing. I doubt they are paying you by the mile and still making same money. You didn't ask?

Why would you agree to "help out" with out getting a solid answer on how your getting paid I.E. ...mileage, hourly, or flat rate. If im asked to do something "special" from the powers that be...I want to know up front how im going to be compendated, and I want that sent over the qualcomm. I will save that message until my check is issued for the "special work" and when I get my settlement sheet I go over it with a fine tooth comb to make sure im paid for what im supposed to be paid for. Just my .02
