Wow, good to know the only injury was a bit of pride.

Hopefully you will find a better replacement for Ol’ Buck

The sad thing is, I've actually seen alot of pre-emmissions trucks in the 6 figure range. Non claims what he is. Just sad that they think they can even ask that. Just shows what the market is. I'm thinking of upgrading mine. Been looking at alot of lighter 4 axle t800s. Honestly though. I'm downright scared of the newer engines. I know nothing about them and don't hear good things about them either. Just don't know how new is too new for me. I know alot of guys got the acert cats straightened out and doing good.

I-80 in Wyoming has seen it’s first full closure this season. If you run that, be prepared, they are going to be quick to shut it down. Guess they are tired of the legal issues.

in other news, we have switched to winter gear.

Hey, honestly....feel blessed it happened in the driveway. Pretty much the best place for things to break.......if there is such a thing.

Yeah, I have a feeling that stretch is going to be a #### show this year. I like that route better than going across 90 and down though. Neither are great, but give me 80 over 90.

Edit: on an unrelated note, these days I avoid 70 west of Denver altogether.

Said it before, but I'm glad I bought my truck when I did. Got one just before the market made a turn for the stupid.

Soon-ish I'm going to start shopping for a trailer and maybe that'll be an adventure in and of itself. Can't decide whether I want a standard flat or a step.

In other news, speaking of soon. Can't wait to enjoy my new back yard.

@singlescrewshaker ,that sucks but glad no one was hurt.
@Lysdexis ,just get a set of the JW Speaker low beams and you will be good. They will cost more upfront but you won't be disappointed.
