I would like to get my cruise working in my 95 4700 with Hydraulic Brakes. Nothing happens when pushing the cruise buttons or trying to get it to fast idle. There is a return spring broken on the clutch pedal in the cab, could that be keeping the pedal down a hair bit from the switch? It seems like it's coming up all the way though. Also I read the parking brake must be set for the fast idle function to work. The parking brake switch isn't attached to the brake handle, I cannot find where it should go. Does anyone know how it attaches? Thanks.

It should be just a small push button style of switch that is mounted on the base of the lever but makes contact with some part of the mechanism when applied. I can't remember exactly where, must be an empty bolt or screw hole where it is supposed to be mounted. Wiring runs under the floor mat.

The switch and wiring is all there, just isn't mounted to anything. The park brake light works when I press the switch in. I just don't know where the switch is supposed to mount as I can't find a hole for it in the brake lever.
