Im new to the trucking industry i just got my license through nettts anyways im interested in Swift and CR England about how many days are you out on the road at a time and which company is better my dad has been a trucker for cocacola for a while but he is just in a daycab and home everynight

Sean 33, one thing you need to understand, trucks do not run on a schedule like trains and buses. It is really pretty much hap-hazard. The truck is chasing the loads and shippers/consignees work different hours and schedule too many trucks sometimes. Production lines break down, trucks show up late, and all kinds of things happen. So, don't expect to ask and get home on certain days. Need to be real flexable.

i agree with the above post. you dont take the load, the load takes you. try CRST. there's good and bad, just like every other company. but my experience with them was good, i just left too soon. your gonna see and be asked to do some things that you don't agree with, but you gotta take the bad and good together. good luck!
