if i want speed ill stick to the sky flying an old plane to spray crops which btw is expensive theres better ways nowadays the only similarity is that one mistake all it takes go from a good day to a bad is one mistake we are human we gonna make mistake lord knows iv had too many not just semi but in all my jobs welding, electrial plumbing, i have been shocked, smolding liquid fire on me them mistakes you either learn not make them again or you look like my uncles look like the ugly stick paid him a visit many times. speed isnt even a question i care ask a company unless i decided drive like ricky bobby in one them cars might even try do a flip in them why not thats what them roll cages for I would need make sure it works.

Insurance companies can not stop a company from running whatever speed they want. It just depends on how much your company is willing to pay for that insurance. Companies get discounts for governing trucks that the bean counters in the office find enticing. And "the insurance company wont let us turn our trucks up" is an excuse companies use to try to get their drivers to accept the slower speeds and stop complaining about it. If insurance companies really could force a company to govern trucks, you would never get passed by a tanker hauling hazmat doing 75+. But that happens with some regularity.

A trucking magazine, years ago, called every insurance company they could find. Non gave a discount for governing speed, or charged more for not governing.

Hard to find info on this company. Did you ever get in touch with Cory? Called the phone numbers from the video and they're disconnected.

That is definitely true, Set Rail pressure & return pressure right, Tall rubber & tall gears & you won't burn all your fuel in the same holler & you'll actually be able to get decent fuel mileage & stay out of your own way. My 79 Superliner w/a V-8 400 & 13 double over w/303 rears on 24.5's was averaging 5.5 to 6 at 70 & 75 w/40,000 consistently which is unheard for an older Mack especially w/a 400. The V-8 400's rep was to be able to pass anything but a fuel stop. ;-o Don't have to run 100, but above 62 & be able to climb black mountain or monterey faster than 25 would be nice. Old school is definitely better

Grady Hudson Transport out of Grand Forks ceased operation and liquidated it's assets. I don't know what happened. I've no experience with them other than occasionally speaking to their drivers at a cold storage shipper.
