Funny how the rep at school makes them sound like the hottest company out there. Most of all the comments I read are horror stories. I went on the road training with Werner Enterprises, training was good, Finished my time and got laid off! They said I could team at .28 cents a mile, I was promised solo at .26. Only problem I came in contact with is no other companies are hiring out of Michigan unless you are fresh out of school and CHEAP!

I hate to break it to you, but a forum that's just a ##### session is not very useful to the posters. If there are satisfied drivers from stevens or any other company who can answer questions about the "bad" company then wouldn't that be helpful? Isn't it a good thing to have someone successful and not just ######## help new drivers to be successful?

If you just want a wall of idiotic and insulting graffiti from angry people (right or not) check your local rest room. People have questions, I and others have answers. I'm sure we'll continue to help.

Go to Stevens in the Company Dac report, and Stevens is the Good company side, and read the posts there. The moderators do not want me posting positive information in this thread about Stevens.

Not every thing is positive about Stevens, Each department is run as a kingdom, with little to no communication with the other departments.

Do your research as we all have to start somewhere.

Don't just read this thread, but read the threads in the other sections also. Now every negative thing said about Stevens is based upon someones experience with them, and that persons expectations.

Stevens is a training company, with high turnover. Many people go into trucking not knowing what it actually takes to be successful. If you can adjust to being treated like you are in kindergarten, (which you are in the trucking industry) deal with all the seamingly endless rules that make no sense to you, keep your mind open to learning, you will do fine at stevens.

As time passes, and you learn more, more of the rules start to make sense.
