do not blame amazon..blame all the people that advocate legal weed, and the legislators that vote YES for it....

no good, can ever come from legalizing any drug.

No person or company is going to hire drivers, DOT regulated or not, to drive without a drug test.
May as well send letters to all lawyers and inform them drivers aren't required to be drug tested.

Most , if not all delivery drivers are through contracted DSP's (delivery service providers). I don't think Amazon can force the DSP to not test for weed, or can they ?

    Boondock Thanks this.

one is tested for drug use at employment time, and post accident. one is tested post accident for drug/alcohol.

seems to me that alcohol should be as well, but the liquor/alcohol industry is far bigger than the weed industry

meaning, i don't see it happening.

    Boondock Thanks this.

Amazon is the customer for DSP, so can require a drug test as part of the contract. Don't know if Amazon does that or not.

    Boondock Thanks this.

I can see it happening some day. Probably when we are only the passenger in the truck

My experience riding a motorcycle is I took the motorcycle safety course at 16 years old in the state of NV. I had a 1986 Honda shadow 1100, it was fantastically overpowered for a kid my age. Bought it from a pawn shop off Boulder Highway, had upgraded jardine pipes too.. Before that I learned on various dirt bikes riding through the desert around Henderson, NV. After that my father and I got new bikes, he went with a valkyrie, which was a beast. I went with another Honda, a newer Shadow Ace. We did the dragons tail together and have the pictures to prove it, went to several Laughlin rallies together, all kinds of ####. So yeah, I actually have a lot of experience riding around the very city this accident occurred. Anymore questions?

Good luck with that, NLV costume wearers couldn't find a donut in a donut shop.

then you know better than to lay blame on the Amazon driver. maybe the bike rider was speeding. bike riders can be just as culpable for accidents as anyone else.
