Probably around the Orange Blossom Trail.
That place is a full on 24/7 freak show.
Fortunately for me, Schneider has a fenced in guarded (by remote camera) lot.

    Lessons learned in Truck Purgatory:

    1. If you sleep in, you have to make the bed.

That is just so not explained in the Life Manual.

$28500 for the month. I so wanted to break $30k. Not complaining though. The few snags I had could have been much worse. 3-1200 mile trips per week is harder than it used to be. Used to do 2, one week, 3 the next week. Working every other weekend. Had no choice when rates were bad. Ran 140k in 08, and was barely squeaking by, high fuel, blown engine, health ins hikes. Perfect storm. then wrecked my Truck. Had to start from scratch. I’m grateful today, to have a chance to succeed. With a little Luck, this Trucking thing may just have a happy ending. It’s been a hell of a ride.

Let’s have a safe winter. Time for Me to adjust my habits. Worst one I have is hitting exit ramps at full speed. Time to slow down!! The ramps are always neglected. No. 1 rule, watch the ramps and bridges. No lane changes on bridges, unless absolutely necessary. Careful with the jakes and the cruise. Stay off the fuel and brakes. Steady and easy makes the trip. I’m dreading winter more than ever. More Drivers in a hurry than ever. Driving like 4 wheelers. Let’s have a safe one. Especially you guys chaining up. No Loads worth the aftermath of a wreck. The wreck itself is bad enough. The possible fallout afterwards can be expensive. Not worth it in the long game.
