Congrats Looney. Get them wheels a rolling on down the road. Never driven one of those Cascadia's but they sure got a hell of a lot of room in them.

 

What fleet did you get put on, if you don't mind me asking?

 

You lucky dog. New guys don't usually get that new a truck. I'm not complaining thou. I ask for a Pete when I came on and got one that was only 18 mos old. It's not blue and it runs great. I hope you do as well hear as I have. Just remember they where not kidding when they said to run a legal log. And don't idle that truck. They get real pissing about that 4%.

When you stop by the house don't forget to park where they tell you or you won't find your truck when you return, just one of their tricks. Freightliners speedometers are off by a couple miles, might want to check it with a GPS, not that it matters. Your first two to three weeks will me with a fleet supervisor so you will get good loads to begin with, good luck.

 

They tell you where you can park when home?
That is odd. I highly doubt that they would have a preset place near me, closest large truck stop is 42 miles away.

 

Looney, I've been reading your posts here for quite some time, and if anybody will make the best of it and make it work, you will. You have awesome morals and values, and you aren't a whiner.
