I’m going to be as blunt as possible with this.
Meet Mr. Dumb***. Mr Dumb*** thought it was a good idea to attempt to change lanes across TWO LANES of traffic on I-465 in Indianapolis just to make an exit. Mr Dumb*** didn’t realize that the middle lane was ALREADY OCCUPIED by a semi truck weighing 79,110 pounds (of which 44,500 pounds was cargo in the reefer trailer. As a result Mr. Dumb*** got spun out and put into a guardrail as a result! Indiana State Police comes to investigate the accident and after talking to the truck driver and Mr. Dumb*** (and various witnesses to the accident) determines that Mr. Dumb*** is at fault for the accident and is also cited for improper lane change! Mr Dumb*** doesn’t also realize that all of our trucks are equipped with dashcams-which caught the accident from start to finish. As a consequence Mr. Dumb***’s insurance is on the hook for repairs to a $165,000 2021 Kenworth
T-680. When the insurance realize it’s going to be a substantial claim Mr. Dumb***’s premium is going to go through the roof-if the insurance company doesn’t cancel his policy after the claim payout first!! As well as cosmetic damage said
T-680 had it’s alignment knocked out of whack.
Mr. Dumb*** doesn’t realize how lucky he is that traffic was only doing 35 mph and not the usual 55 mph on I-465,otherwise instead of riding in a tow truck,he would’ve been riding in an ambulance or worse-a county coroner’s van!
As for the truck driver-his Safety and Risk departments determine the truck driver is not at fault for the accident and it’s ruled a non-preventable after talking to the state trooper investigating the accident and looking at the camera footage from the dashcam!

Mr. Dumb*** also caught some flack from the state trooper for not having his license plate properly affixed(he had it mounted in the rear window but it couldn’t be seen because of the window tint being too dark).Last edited: Nov 4, 2021
