Fantastic! Congrats on landing a good driving job. I would enjoy hearing your experiences as I am just getting my CDL this month to join the LTL world.

Congratulations, driver. As a former FXF employee, my biggest advice to you, is to take is easy and seriously place your safety and others above the goal of delivering freight. If you make a mistake, own up to it and self report ASAP and learn from it. There isn't one person who ever got excrement-canned at FXF for missing pickups or gate times, but a whole line of people that did for making dumb mistakes repeatedly by letting dispatch run their truck.Gearjammin' Penguin, Waterman_99, The Shadow and 2 others Thank this.

I also have an interview for FXF in Chester Springs, PA (Chester county) for a Class B CDL P&D position full time
they are starting at top rate of $30.15 and hour and I think I will take the job if it’s offered to me
I’m currently in School to get my Class A on the weekends... I would assume if there’s an operational need they would train me ASAP for my position?or would I have to put my time in... at the rate I would be paid with at least 10 hours of overtime I would be working... it’s no rush for me -
I saw that ad. Not bad for a class b position. I’m closer to the river to the west. I’d jump all over that -
Training for a Class A is technically an entire separate job, so it’s not something they’ll just have you start doing one day.

We have a guy that’s been here for years driving a straight truck. He wants to move to a tractor trailer, but they’ll start him back at the bottom of the pay scale.
