What if it Snows?

Sounds about right, considering towing, tires, Labor to weld on a new spindle, $2000 alone. I doubt the gears are damaged. As long as it has some oil in it. What about the other sides bearings? Still good? Proves the Guy over torqued the one he worked on. On mine, the steer knuckle/ spindle was replaceable. Came with new king pin bushings installed. Cost $1100. Even then, it was installed with the old shims. I questioned that. Oh no, That’s how I’ve always done them. Then the famous last statement- I’ve never had one come back. Lol. Yeah I think, because I’ll be 1000 miles. away when it breaks down. I’ve since found out I need more shims. I’ve got them, hopefully the bushings and Kingpin Bearing is still good. I’ve got to fix that before getting an alignment. It’s not dangerous, but causes a shimmy at 75 mph. Can’t be good.

 

Old Dayton rim works good too. That’s a nice one you got. Been wanting one for a while. Stack of wood out back is just rotting away. Bugs got into it. Logs are very light. Won’t burn long.

 

Dropped an empty can at the Port in Portland today.

The ship dropping eight containers for me is in, Evidently they are figuring on unloading it this weekend.
