Sitting on the back porch with Hazul drinking beer and bourbon at 0800.
Got loaded. I have until tomorrow to deliver 80 miles from here.
    "Hazul. Get me another beer.....please."

We've moved a further 197.5 miles South away from the bad place.

I told The OM we're in a warmer place now, I-80 in Iowa, and The OM is like-

Went through a town where there was a series of traffic lights above and collapsed concrete road sections below. In a loaded tanker, that's an especially unpleasant ride. So I'm stopped at a traffic light with lots of traffic behind me, light turns green and I'm s_l_o_w_l_y going through the gears when a voice comes over the radio and says, "Hey Trimac, you need a push!" Well, we start jawing in a friendly kinda way. Next thing I know another tanker blows by me in the left lane and gives me a couple of tugs on his air horn.

This is one of those things I absolutely love about truckin'. You can immediately bond with someone you haven't seen, don't know and more than likely will never again in your life come across. It's beautiful, really.
