Re read it. The settling in on back is just to get you aligned and in position
Then... Hike you carcass, (with covers elevated), turn in place to R or L. You roll, you get off your ramp. You don't elevate you covers, you wind up wound up.

(Can't sleep on your back? Simple, just carefully hike and twist your self to right or left, keeping in line with ramp.)

I’ve got a very funny story that can’t be told. It involves an O/O, his In Law who’s an alcoholic, 2 cases of so-called non alcoholic beer. A Commercial Vehicle and an 1100 mile trip. The O/O who was too aggravated to argue with said Alcoholic, about the beer. Add the alcoholics wife, their 9 yr old grandson, and the O/Os wife. It was a rough trip, but they made it. Once the Load was delivered, soon the inevitable happened, and the In Law started drinking the real stuff while the 5 of them tried to enjoy their vacation. Said In Law got Irate. He and his wife were constantly arguing and criticizing and complaining about everything. They really showed their worst sides, blaming the O/O and his wife for everything and anything, when actually everything went fairly well considering. Finally the O/Os wife confronted them, since the Alcoholics wife is her sister. They parted ways. Don’t know how they got home. According to them they make 1400 mile trips to Florida without stopping. Shouldn’t have been a problem for them. The whole thing started as a trip for the kid to enjoy, but in reality was a Grandmas desire to be entertained while having to watch him over the holidays, and an O/O trying to be a nice Guy. At the last minute the Alcoholic decided to go along. What a disaster it was. As my Father often said, “ The road to hell is paved with good intentions” The family members haven’t talked since. OK wasn’t very funny, but there were some pretty funny moments, in a twisted humor type of way.
