What if it Snows?

Ain't no right spot. South of Champaign, IL years ago. The 5 AM critical moments, daylight to fully sunup. Old US45. No culverts, power poles, farmed up to ROW. Level. I doze off and come to with cornstalks going whap , whap and steering jolt , jolt. Was hitting end of corn rows and stalling in high gear.
Being the expert driver I was, just jerked it from OD to 3rd and steered left. Tooled right back onto pavement. Fully awake. .cornstalks sticking out of the grill.
So after checking both directions; and finding a wide enough place to pull over some, stopped and removed the corn harvest from the L195 IH's cross bars.
I remember that as being more embarrassing than dangerous in hindsight.

 

That would be some "distraction" I would like to see...From my monitor, right in front of my keyboard. Be a sight to behold.

 

Fell asleep, had a heart attack, got a dear Jane text, confused open air space with a road, decided that quitting was too difficult so went for fired.

 

Succinct reaction to immediate situation...Shows adaptability.

 

Or drug use.
