would be hard to collect from a jail cell, more political grandstanding for votes also what about the thugs and illegal's that are killing police officer's and innocent people who have kids.
The_vett, N00bLaLoosh, D.Tibbitt and 4 others Thank this. -
As my dad has said many times ' You can't get blood from a stone'.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
I ####### HATE drunk drivers... they should be stoned to death on the courthouse lawn .. and any lawyer that tries to defend them should be tar & feathered and disbarred
-
Should they not be defended until proven guilty?
Should sleeping it off in your car be a DUI? -
But they gotta get a fai and honest trial.Last Call and Pamela1990 Thank this. -
If their in court for a DUI... there's very strong evidence their were drunk... The law doesn't write DUI tickets unless they have sold evidence
There's a lot of layers that somehow get it educate from a DUI.. to a just a moving violation and a big fine..all that does is give the quality drive the idea they can get away with it if they have deep pockets... that's BS
And no they shouldn't be sleeping it off in their vehicle
If you get all liquored up . The find a ride from somebody to somewhere to sleep it off
How many times do you real think they get in their vehicle with the intention to just sleep it off and not try to drive ? -
I am sorry for her losses, but I have a hard time believing that this proposed law will pass. The drunk driver will probably have to pay restitution and fines anyway...this one is tough one for me. Also if he killed someone while driving drunk, he will be put away for a good while. This whole thing rubs me weirdly.

That being said, I have no issue with the punishment, however, not all charges can be substituted, which is why we have the judicial system, as broken as parts of it are. -
WHEN FOUND GUILTY
But there a alot of scumbag lawyers that mange to get it reduced to some sort of moving violation
I have a very very strong opinion on this subject...
Personal I think when they get pulled over .. and can NOT pass the Field Sobriety Test & the Blood Alcohol Content Test.. the officer should be allowed to put a bullet in their head..
I F.......ING HATE DRUNK DRIVERSMototom Thanks this.
