I've only had my securement checked once on a military load, and that was a contract shipper that made stuff. I've never had a load checked that picked up on base.

Have loaded a fair amount of equipment for the navy, most going into refitting, some was for new. They had a packet that had all the loading instructions in it. Where to put chains, binders the works.

 

Yeah I've been given securement instructions, but still nobody actually checked to see if they were followed. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, just hasn't been my experience.
