Grocery store was full here last night thankfully.

Looked like a few trains were caught in the washouts. It'll definitely take time to clean that up. I wonder if they can fill in the missing ground under the tracks or if they'll need to put in bridges. Maybe re-route the track completely? Either way this is not a 2 weeks and its fixed situation.

Anyone else noticing Mexican built van trailers on the road? IMG_20211120_141818827_HDR.jpg IMG_20211120_141838071_BURST000_COVER.jpg

2 years ago I seen some Mexican fruehaufs. Spoke to a dealer because I seen pics of some flatbed. Dealer sold off inventory and decided not to restock due to quality.

In the days, you could find a better van trailer.

Don't Wabash have a Mexico plant?

@AModelCat ,@Flint1 , I was reading on a Ag forum that one concern was the feed mills running out of grain for the livestock. One mill was allocating production for the poultry farmers because the cattle could eat hay & silage. Bad situation for sure.

I don't know about that? Are they branded as something other than Wabash?

I wouldn't have loaded it either. Fool goes down the road and gets in a wreck, leave it to some lawyer to try and pin partial responsibility on you and your shop. Good call.

Milton, FL for the evening. Was planning on Tallahassee but the whole way across LA was nothing but one backup after another, started losing the sun right at the AL/FL line. Some days you're the dog, today I was the tail.

Quick question for you experienced OD guys... what's SOP for FL coups? Permit says no bypass, so I pulled up on the static scale expecting some form of "Show us your papers". They just give me a green light so off we went. Is that the normal routine, or did I catch a lazy scale master on a Saturday evening?

They will ask for the permit number or let you go on your way. It's 50/50

I heard a lot of animals were lost. 61 chicken farms are either flooded or cut off. A lot of that area is farmland from about Bridal Falls to Abbotsford. The economic fallout will be huge.
