Bottom line is you’re in the Black, working to stay out of the red. Damage control. Would be worse if you had no income coming in. When I wrecked 12 yrs ago, income stopped and bills didn’t. Took 8 weeks to pay me off. By then everything was late. Polished me off, as I was already struggling for the past 5 yrs. Just kept running and running, Trucking economy kept getting worse and worse. I would have just kept going. It was almost a blessing in disguise. Took a lot of planning to figure out a way to keep rolling. It’s all in the past. Definitely a learning experience. Hope you get it back soon.

That’s not bad at all. The 10k was your choice. Things like that need to be looked at as time, more than money. 3 mos of your Life/ Business being on hold. Instead of focusing on Potential lost revenue. Soon be back to normal. Without a payment. That’s a big plus.

Yeah you are exactly right. Plus getting back on the road after wrecking ive already become a better driver.. Sometimes i think i tend to get in a rush doing local/regional loads and my mind is racing trying to figure out my next loads, not focused on driving. And i think thats what happend. Just didnt show any respect for that haul road and i made a mistake that couldve killed me... but im lucky to be with a great company and great people i work with that have helped me along and allowed me to get back and keep driving and have the opportunity to make money.

Plan on Tuesday. When you get it back on Monday at 4:59pm you’ll be happy.

The truck has stopped again after advancing the load another 373.6 miles.

The good news it has stopped at a Flying J on the back side of The DeeVide.

The bad news is after traveling up The DeeVide and dealing with the gentle, calming crosswind for 600 miles, MPG has plummeted to 7.8

    The OM is pleased however.
