I heard somewhere else that C1 has a school in North Carolina. Is there any truth to this? I don't think it is although it would be a lot closer than Little Rock.
My honest, no BS, opinion of P.A.M.

what about cex its a division of pam . i know its all teams ... any info would be helpful.
-
As of the first of the year, PAM has done away with the individual divisions and we are all now considered PAM

What are the trucks like with PAM? I know they are auto-shifts but what about amenities? Do they have inverters or do you have to get one yourself? I am assuming the truck will come bare-bones and it is my responsibility to "make it home". Also, do PAM trucks have CB's? I know some companies don't provide CB radios either. Thanks!

PAM-ALLEN FREIGHT SERVICES......i use to work for allen freight services in jacksonville,fl. this was the best company i ever worked for. they got me home when i wanted to be there, and my dm would always ask me, "when do you want to come back out". i got great miles with these guys and you are a person, not a truck number, with these guys. if i ever decide to move back to the mainland and do otr again. i would go back to these guys.

Good luck. -
Paid for my own school so had no contract with PAM, was out 3 months and spent average of 4 days a week sitting, waiting on reload, every weekend. Made decision to quit. Called Driver Manager, told him I wanted to quit. Was in Laredo Texas and they told me I would have to take truck to Tontitown under a load or I would be charged with Truck abandonment and they would take my finally paycheck and money in escrow to pay another driver to return truck. PAM is a total joke> I left truck at thier drop yard, had guard sign for keys. Waiting to see where we go from here.

It seems like it's either feast or famine with PAM!

Ok I start school next month at C1 in Indy. Do the drivers get paid while they are with the driver trainer?
-
Once you get on the truck with your trainer, you make 300.00 per week
