Arrow Trucking Safety Wants To Slow Trucks

Amazing what can happen to a co in just 2 years.

 

They're really slow now........parked in dealer lots and truckstops coast to coast.

 

I wonder just how many more are on the edge.

 

Lesson to be learned...maybe we shouldnt post bad things and ##### about a company that is inplementing measures to cut costs........esp on the single largest overhead they have....fuel costs.

 

I really wonder just how concerned they were on costs. I would love to see if the office staff had cuts and the owners as well.

 

Cutting the speed on trucks DOESN'T CUT COST!!! The way they neuter them actually causes them to loose power and fuel economy. If companies want to cut cost they should treat their drivers with respect and dignity, that way they don't have constant turnover and keep paying for bus tickets, food, lodging for orientation.

 

I know they'd never own up to knowing, but I wonder how long the big shots knew the bottom was about to drop out. Did they hold out long enough to make it easier on themselves? Did get their own affairs in order before dropping the bomb?

 

They never dropped the bomb. Had they done that the drivers should have heard it fall. They detonated a claymore that took out the ground troops.

 

As a Swift driver I take issue with that statement,..being on " Staff" here I would think you would be more informed than what you are. Swift is NOT governed at 60 MPH,..and I would just love it if you would cite facts and data to back up this bigmouth statement.

I am betting you cant and will attempt to deflect the topic,..waiting,..I have over 19 years experience,..all accident free and make in excess of .40 a mile, have excellent benefits and drive a very nice 09 Prostar and get home very regularly. But I am sure the response from you will do more than justify the totally idiotic statement you decided to pop out here,..
