There are a number of Monfort truck photos at the following pinterest website:

58 Monfort ideas | trucks, kenworth trucks, vintage trucks

I noticed a Marmon (all white) pulling a Monfort trailer, Kenworth cabover and several other types. I visited Marmon's factory between Dallas and Fort Worth back in the 1990s ---- I was told that Marmon was the Cadillac of Class 8 tractors........

Another pinterest website with Monfort trucks, a Mack cabover at the bottom.

There is a softcover book of Monfort truck photos taken by David Bontrager. His wife Anna Bontrager has published this and other truck photo books. Apparently, her husband David drove semi's for over 40 years and took truck photos since the 1950s as a boy.

Volume 2 contains photos of Monfort and other Colorado truck lines.

Larry Steinbecker moved his part of the operation (dry vans) to Topeka in 1987. Dale remained in Greeley with the reefer. John Shupe took over the reefer Greeley operations in late 1987 and in 1988 leased the remaining trucks to Monfort Transportation for a while, but moved them to Digby, Inc. for a few years than back to Monfort until the Ameri-Truck era. There were 2 more moves until Shupe renewed his authority in 2000. He sold DSCO to Don Digby Jr and Don's sister in 2004. I worked for Monfort Transportation from June 1976 until Feb 1979. I worked for Steinbecker from Feb 1979 til 1987 then for John Shupe (DSCO) until 2004. PS: John Shupe MD Kenny Monfort started Monfort Transportation in 1971.

I drove for the Hall of Fame SteinBecker Brothers back in the 80’s. Best I remember it was the Atlanta office I worked out of being from Kentucky. I hauled swing meat out Monfort plant to Hunts Point and worked my way back to Greeley to get another load. I drove long nose brown flat top KW and later a orange KW AeroDyn sleeper with HAUL OF FAME on the top of the sleeper. I love that company and so many great drivers and stories to last a lifetime. It didn’t matter where you went - you pulled up in SteinBecker KW with Monfort logos people had respect for you being a meat hauler it was a different lifestyle for other truckers and it’s hard to explain it’s just different! I left there when the brothers split and I went back to hauling cattle.
