You are missing half the information needed. SID numbers are only "Subsystem Identifiers" They don't indicate which main system is faulting or the main code. There should be more information on your LCD screen to indicate which component is faulting and the actual code.

Heavyd, where can I get a data cable to hook my truck up to my laptop
-
sid 1-6 are missfire codes.....
-
The data cable you need is an interface box and the proper software to communicate with what ever part of the truck you want. Engine, abs, trans, body controller all use different software. Some you have to pay for, some you can't get at all. The software and interface box aren't cheap. You would be looking at probably $800 and up.

interface box - any RP1210, I use cummins inline 2 and inline 5, my friend uses Nexiq USB link and Chenese VCX-HD (it supports CDL too).
-
Hey Pablo-UA I have a Compulink. Where can I get a cable to go to the circular connector in the cab. Thanks in advance
-
Those boxes have been obsolete for a very long time. The cable you need will be hard to find. Cummins no longer supports it. Ebay or something like that would be your best bet. Used truck parts too maybe. It may take some time to find one. Be patient! Good luck!
