hmmm.... so how about them N.O Saints?? they look pretty good.

 

Yep the ole Tipster did and ranted about them endlessly. My guess is the Tipster got axed and ruined his DAC and wailed because of it. I can have an opinion about any and every thing,..doesnt make my opinion worth a thing.

Swift has more accidents than any other trucking outfit,..so this means they are the most unsafe co out there,..baloney,..they have way more trucks so the frequency is going to be higher,..doesnt make them more unsafe by virtue of frequency.

There are going to be way more topics on this forum about what Swift did to me,..Swift is mean because they did this or that,..doesnt make it so because of the number.

As far as Brickman goes,..I have not dishonored myself,..I have earned a good living , been home when I needed to be and been safe in the process.

Brickman thinks his opinion is correct and will no doubt spout some statistic that will have no relevance. As far as your analogy goes,..it makes no sense,..you NEVER worked for Swift,..there is no way ANYTHING you spout off about them can be taken seriously,..you have no knowledge,..and popping on here attempting to look otherwise is pretty foolish.

I guess it makes him feel better about himself to degrade others employment and choices,..I feel better about myself by being productive,..might give that a try sometimes,..its a pretty good feeling,..I wont be taking anything Brickman says seriously,..he has proven to be unreliable and spreads rumors without firsthand knowledge,..hard to accept anything someone like that does with any reliablility.

 

Well; this falls along the line of here is where the problem might lie. The newbies that are swifted in training by trainers who often lack the experience themselves. If swift would hold a higher standard of who they allow to train. Example ( I have worked for co's that you had to work for them for 2 years and meet their safety standard and company standards before you become a trainer) Who's fault is it if they take a 6 month driver... label them a trainer and then toss them in the ring to train brand new drivers? If swift would police their own maybe we would not see so many swifties tearing up things left and right.

I have seen a lot of swift trucks do a lot of boneheaded things that often led to something being damaged or traffic being congested by a stupid move. True not all swift drivers are bad, but I cringe when I see a swift trying to back in beside me on account of all the things I have seen them do.

 

Hey scout! thats nice to hear, I knew there were situations like yours at the big carriers, I have talked to some old timers who have been at JB and swift etc: and they were happy too, had been there for many years too. You hear so many bad things, and of course You never hear the good,, and due to their size it seems like there is somehting new everyday, so it's good to hear someone being happy at the big carriers,, I know there are many out there..
