Ironically I was driving a manual rental truck last week and thought about the new restrictions for newer drivers. Seeing that some companies might have to rent rental trucks that are manuals when the rest of the automatic ones aren't available it doesn't leave that driver in a good situation for being versatile.

I'd suggest checking out Kijiji ads (a lot of Own Operators who are struggling to find drivers) might consider a driver for their small fleet who is new. Considering the current Supply Chain issues occurring, the end of the 'Babyboomer generation' retiring etc. I can't see why most might not give them a break. Canada Cartage always seem to be giving newbies a chance. In 1995 they did and having changed much.

I've applied for many openings with canada cartage. They seem to not be taking anyone with less than six months experience anymore
