Got my med cert. Got my cdl knowledge. Air brake. Combo. Was thinking about getting passenger and school bus endorsement because of the rule changes Feb 7th. If I have my endorsement before that and do not get school bus license will that be voided after a year and will I have to go through new training requirements anyway? Or can I renew them and not be subject to Feb 7th rules?
Feb 2022 regulations and adding endorsements.

Are you trying to get a semi-truck CDL and a Passenger (P) - school bus (B) commercial license at the same time? If so, I believe you have to pass 2 road tests. one road test in a semi-truck and trailer and another road test in a passenger/school bus. I believe when you take a knowledge test for an endorsement it is only valid for a certain amount of time. I can't find that time period on my state's web site. It might be as short as 30 days. Anyone know how long a CLP is valid?Last edited: Dec 21, 2021
TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this. -
Thanks for the reply. ..did not know that about tanker endorsement. Not sure you understood the question though. As far as I understand if you want an endorsement added after Feb 7th you going to have to go through some kind of training/school????

And how does a tanker endorsement mean you can carry on the the stuff you said??? Tank is tank. Dry is dry. Flat is flat etc etc.
