I didn't know about the "after Feb 7th" requirement for training on an endorsement. I assume you are right. I haven't had to keep track of that since I've had my CDL with endorsements for a long time. Are you trying to get a semi-truck CDL and get a Passenger and School Bus endorsement at the same time? I am guessing your Bus endorsements only lasts as long as your Commercial Learners Permit is valid (30-90 days) or until it is replaced by passing all requirements to have the CDL for bus. You might ask your question in the Trucking Industry Regulations section of this board.

In my state, you are required to get hired by a school district before you are able to get a School bus CDL. You can get a Passenger Bus CDL without being hired by anyone. Every state may be different.

NO. If you haul any freight in which one liquid container is 119 gallons or more or all liquid containers weigh a total of 1,000 lbs or more you are required to have a tanker endorsement. In the old days until the mid-2010s a tanker endorsement was only needed to haul tanker trailers, like the ones hauling fuel. Since that mid-2010 date you can haul specific pieces of freight inside or on other trailer types only if you have the tanker endorsement.

And to throw some more on that.... You need the endorsement even if the containers are empty. Like hauling empty/used IBC's to be recycled.
