He put me in the back of a blue and white, then questioned me, and demanded an apology. I refused to apologize for laughing.
He yelled and screamed for a while, threatening to take me to the station for booking. I said please do, so he called a female officer, who showed up, frisked me, hand cuffed me, read me my rights, and drove me there, took me upstairs with him following us. Then he was beginning to do his whole tough guy act, I sat there smiling. Some other officer, I will assume his boss, came out and asked him to come talk with him. They were gone for about 5, when they came back, the other guy said sorry for the whole ordeal, took my cuffs off, and had the lady officer who arrested me and drove me to the cop shop, drive me back to where I got arrested. As we were driving back to the park, she told me he has a fragile ego, and when I laughed at him, it triggered his temper. Also told me the other cops couldn't stand the guy. She laughed when I said there was no way I was going to apologize for laughing, and was actually looking forward to my day in court to explain to the judge why I was arrested. The woman officer said no way the Crown would ever take it to court anyway, but the higher ranking officer immediately upon hearing why i was there, told him that was a ludicrous reason to arrest me, and I was being let go.

Doubtful many people could have witnessed his feeble attempt to arrest those 2 guys in the park, and not have laughed. Those guys were 3 times quicker, and had some coordination at least. When officer idiot tried to run, he tripped over his own feet and face planted the grass. All I could do was watch and laugh. Seemed utterly ridiculous to arrest those 2 guys for drinking a couple beers to begin with. They didn't really so much evade officer slow and clumsy, as they did jog away at half speed with their beers in hand, while he chewed on grass.

    hahaha that's awesome.

I've never been arrested, but got cuffed only once in my life when I was 16. A bunch of us went riding around in the boxes of pickup trucks (back when it was legal to do that) with water balloons and water guns, it was a hot day and we were burning around town squirting random people and if they weren't pissed off by it we'd hammer them with water balloons. Unbeknownst to us, someone called the cops saying a bunch of kids were driving around town with guns. We had all parked together at the local Super A grocery store parking lot and three cop cars came flying in and did the "high risk takedown" of about a dozen scared chitless kids. We all got handcuffed, face down on the pavement, until it was sorted out. It even made the local paper.

I’ve been cuffed a few times. Only arrested once. 18 hours in solitary with a roommate (no joke) cured my wanting to visit a jail for good.

I would venture to guess the old ones were original, 23 years old.

Pretty much everything. The vocational users typically go with KW, Pete, and a few Western Stars, the reefer fleets mixed with all brands of aero trucks. Hopper bottoms for grain etc. seem to favor Pete and KW hoods.
