Forecast said it was supposed to get to -47 here last night. my little digital remote temp gauge bottoms out at -40 so I'm not sure how cold it got.

 

Yeap, 53mph wind and cold. Woke up to no water because my pump house is frozen. Furnace actuay kicked on in the night because the wood stove wasn't enough.

 

They're wearing real good. I forget what they cost, tall 24.5s

 

Right on! I'm still doing 300 lbs on the negative rep. Stuck at about 270-275 for a full rep. Hoping un-racking and re-racking 300 lbs will bring that up some more.

I de-loaded the last couple weeks but still managed to set a squat PR at 355 lbs. I'm going to try and break through the 445 lb wall I'm stuck at with deadlifts in the next couple weeks.

 

I believe mine were around $400 a piece. Which is no bargain, but I had to get a tire and it was literally the only 24.5 they had.

 

It's my sewer discharge that gives me grief when it gets stupid cold here. I haven't went out to check it yet...

 

My native buddy's dad had a glass eye. He was a terrible drunk, would sit in the bar mooching drinks until people got sick of him and quit buying him beers. So he would take out his eye and drop it in someone's glass. They'd get grossed out, he'd take their beer and drink it, pop his eye out of his mouth and put it back in and look for the next victim.

 

Speaking of price of tires, the Yokohama drives we put on dad's truck were just a hair over the imports. Roughly 40 bucks per tire more for em.
