So how do we get hooked up with kroger loads power only out of tolleson Arizona

..but after being in this business for over 23 years, on the dock loading & unloading trailers, being a city driver and an over the road driver......that's where service comes into play with reputation.
Sure, you might get a cheaper rate from other companies but what about their service? the Overage, shortage & Damage (OS&D).
As an OTR owner operator trucker, I value my customers freight since they pay a little higher. they get multiple load locks from me, careful corner terning, and I always arrive early.
I will even have the shipper downstack pallets if I cant secure them. use dunnage to protect the tops of pallets and air bags if they got them..
Me personally, I'd rather pay a little more for security of the freight and to keep it on one truck -

Drivers who take pride in what they do actually care about how the freight is delivered deserve more money. I keep tabs on the ones that do and dont.
PPLC, Midwest Trucker, gekko1323 and 1 other person Thank this. -

I always carry extra shrink wrap, twine or rope
I understand seals are necessary for shipments so no one messes with them as far as stealing or contamination of food products...but over a 2700 mile drive, load locks do come loose and fall off from the vibration or wiggling of the trailer and cause the freight to shift...
I find it necessary to check and inspect the freight load locks in trans...but a seal always prevents that -
So much tql hate, but why? I've never had an issue with them?
