    No after treatment nonsense?
    Tcw-3
    2 stroke oil
Ratio somewhere between 100-150 diesel to 1 gal oil

Unfortunately we do not have fuel blended for cold temperatures as consistently as you, and folks in my part of the country often run from cold temps here to California/ Arizona etc. where it may be 80 degrees and then back to sub-zero when we return. Care needs to be taken to treat fuel if it was purchased down south in order to prevent problems when returning north.

Newer engines cycle much more fuel than my old mechanicals, so I suspect that as long as one can get them running, keeping them running is not too tough. But then again fuel heaters are still an available option, so maybe it is more of an issue than I am aware. This pertains to fuel treatments for the purpose of lowering the cloud point. As far as treating fuel in the summer goes, lubricity is important for my old engines but probably not for new ones.

I add 2-stroke oil in the summer, and Howes in the winter. I haven't got caught with my britches down for a quite a while now due to gelling, so I think Howes is pretty helpful.

I'm coming up on my 14th year driving, never added a treatment to my fuel, or oil.
Only once got towed, and that was when my radiator sprung a major leak.

I’m assuming that applies to mechanical and electronic engines? I got both, Cummins SC 290, 310, 350, Cummins BC 400, N14, Detroit 12.7, Cat 3306 and 3406B.

All those engines will happily drink it right down..

Seemed to really smooth out low idle in the DDEC II Series 60 I had at about 150:1 ratio..

Currently running it in a M11. She seems to like a bit more so far, more like 100:1 in her..

I just use the cheapest i can get, usually Walmart super tech brand. Cost about $13.44 gallon round here..

When I come up from Texas and know it will be minus anything Howes goes in on the heavy side. That way I keep rolling under my own power and not powered by the expensive tow truck.

I guess the Lucas Marine 2 cycle oil, will work as good as any? I got a couple gallons of that for my duck hunting outboards.

TA / Petro has a list of winter fuel locations on their website. Full-Service Travel Centers
Loves claims they treat the fuel at all locations according to temperatures and also claim they magically know if your heading north to colder climates.
P/FJ does not have current information on there website. Latest info I could find was 2019/2020.
Also this thread from a couple years ago mentions where you can get straight #1 diesel or 50/50 mixed #1 or Winter Blended Diesel fuel

Hot Shots Diesel Extreme. Case closed. Find yourself a fuel additive HFFR chart (test results) and go from there.
