Absolutely. I’ve spent a lifetime dealing with it. I’ve lived in Tn. Ms. La. and Texas. Tn. and La. being my favorite. I’ll keep Trucking just to get away from winters in Michigan. I’ve had enough of it.

No way. La is the US equivalent to South America. I'm pretty sure the locals are speaking English, but I just can't tell for sure. Not to mention the shear size and number of bugs/creepy crawlies. Hard pass.

This time of the year it’s pretty nice. The heat and humidity in the summers grueling. I worked 2 summers in a Steel yard in 84+85. I don’t think I could do it now. I think Tn. around or south of I-40 would be the best mix of weather. Able to enjoy being outside more. It gets too cold here, and any project gets postponed till spring. Just not enough good weather to do projects AND enjoy the warm weather. Not to mention Freights always best from April till October.

I'm the opposite. I don't do the heat. I'm white, I'm not built for that crap. Once it hits the mid 60s, I'm sweating hard. When it's cold I can put layers on. When it's hot and humid, it's just frigging miserable and you can't escape it!
