I'm stealing this, it's great.

 

Kinda not inappropriate, Sleep is important for safety. And BCOs sleep well at night because they are at the pinnacle of trucking.

 

Garage is heated he uses as a wood shop. Not cooled in the summer so it gets plenty of heat then

 

It was a good gig for me while I did it.

My reality is that mentally I'm not even looking for a path back. More looking for excuses not to go back.

Mostly burnt out on trucking. Still don't feel the desire. Most likely won't till the house gets built.

I think my path forward does not include much trucking, other than as a supplement to what ever the primary job description changes to.

 

We have a Bosch dishwasher, it was already installed when we bought the house in 2017. I love it, and don't turn it on before its at least 3/4 full. The dirty dishes are out of sight, and even if dishes have been in there for 2 or 3 days, they usually come clean. Maybe every 10 loads, we find something that is dirty while unloading it. Then we scrub it good in the sink, and put it back in the dishwasher for the next load.
I would really miss not having a dishwasher.
Will also recommend Bosch having owned one for 4.5 years.
