It's so cold out I don't if I want to start the truck. It's 14''F. I have the block heater on and a trickle charger. I have to do a load so I don't lose the trailer. I drove up to sam's club and they were closed for cleaning and inventory. I needed a box spring and the riser for my mattress. I want it up a few feet, so it's not as cold. I guess I could a sheet of plywood on cinder blocks. I would rather have it higher.
So we had 40 and 50 mph wind gust according to the news.Speed_Drums, Eldiablo, 4mer trucker and 6 others Thank this. -
Also a serious question. How would a start up fly as a "Truck Only Stop"? Adequate parking for say 50 trucks. Fuel island. Small café/shower building with a couple of local mother/grans providing meals. Minimum offers of "options needed" at the fuel island. Plainly a trucks only.. No cars or RVS. Wheel in, fuel, park, eat, sleep, go. Sort of like a miniature Buc-ee's of trucks.Last edited: Jan 6, 2022
