It was posted on another thread that you cannot use the GPS state logging for legal IFTA reporting.
I have written IFTA themselves, www.iftach.org and asked that question.
I know everyone will have an answer, but lets wait and see what the Folks whom run IFTA have to say.
Thanks,

All units in our stock are T5C models as of last week. I plugged yours in and made sure it has the latest software (which is what we are doing with all of them until further notice by the way) so it's up to date as of today.

Thanks for info

Is anybody still having issues with the message expired license?
If you buy one and it shows that the License is expired, before you return the unit, please try to install the TND Dock and update your TND. The Update will resolve the issue. If not, contact me.
If you are on a Pure Mac then contact me as I have another workaround, since the TND Dock does not interface with Mac's yet.
Thanks,

I ordered one straight from Rand a day before Pilots sale. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of next week. Man I wish I was on the beta testing, that's right up my alley. I fear I'd hammer them with too many feature wish lists though and they would tire of my demands.

Failed on the first run into Chicago. It turned me onto a state highway (56 I think) then claimed it was truck restricted (it wasn't) and spent the next few miles recalculating constantly rendering itself useless. When it gets on what it thinks is a restricted road it will tell you to turn on every single street, parking lot, goat trail, etc, to get off that route. And you can't look at the map to see where to go since it's busy having a conniption fit.
It did better than the garmin though, which has a total nervous breakdown on restricted routes (it was also marked restricted on the 465t) and drops the routing then throws popups covering the map until it freaks out and reboots itself repeatedly.
Speaking of popups that cover the entire screen thus rendering the unit useless until you get rid of them manually, what is the obsession designers of these units have with making sure every unit has them? If you program something into the unit that forces me to mess with it while driving at least take out the disclaimer that says not to mess with the unit while driving. Duh. Or at least put in an option to turn the #### things off.Mark Kling Thanks this. -

I just did a total backup of the gps... I thought the backup would be stored in the program file but it was not... Could you shed some light on where the backups are store... Thanks
