    Had to step out for a minute and wow at the amount of replies.
    I have a Class A permit. I also live around Williamsport so West Chester is a long haul.
    Thanks for all the replies to I am going to start contacting those companies mentioned.

    Hay, Rutt ... many (most) of these companies offer housing, for free . . . and meals (or 2 of 3 of them!) A couple more to look into (and Chinatown can do the fancy way with the links for me, haha! )

    1.) CFI (soon to be TFI after acquiring UPS LTL)

    2.) Witte Brothers (very little known, but excellent! China can add links & pix!)

    get a job at a walmart store. walmart is starting 3 new driver schools. this is for beginners with zero experience. they arent hiring from the streets. its only open for current employee's.

    Ok so update. I contacted a few of these companies so far, filled out a few online apps, waiting on callbacks, emails etc. Also I tried contacting YRC Freight, I was a Union member for all of my working career, and I know non-union companies frown on that so I figured trying the union one first to avoid problems. The recruitment line was super helpful but the training coordinator or secretary that was answering my questions was dumb as a bag of rocks and told me the complete opposite of what the website says. Called original recruiter and she sent me the app so we will see where that goes.

    Im interested in this is there anyway I can find out more information?
