It did. This was the problem they found so hopefully it fixed it. I won't know for sure until I get it back out on the road though.

If they flushed the system and didn't change the filter, that shop sucks.
I would take it back and make them complete the job.

I would think that the new pump should come with a filter in it already.

    RunningAces Thanks this.

I'm an idiot, that's exactly why it wasn't listed the entire part, the pump, was changed and thus had a new filter in it already. Thanks.

For Cummins engine go directly to a Cummins owned shop. My first truck had the check engine light turn on constantly. Bought it from MHC Dallas. They could never fix it right. My second truck, first time check engine came on took it to Cummins in North Carolina, never had an emissions problem again.

The risk though. Especially now with Biden/Butti heading up the show we just don't know what they are going to do. If testing becomes more prevalent and I got caught with a deleted truck it would costs months of labor in fines and reversing the work. Then there are all the other issues like some shops not working on them etc

We discuss other illegal or very grey areathings that have to do with trucking out in the open all the time. Why are deletes something the site has decided to take a hard line on? Not arguing, just curious.

We have to draw the line somewhere and this is the way we decided to do it.

As far as discussion of other illegal activities, if the illegal activity is being encouraged, promoted, condoned, or advertised we try to get rid of it. We can't be everywhere or catch everything but we do make an effort.
