Over the years; with three daughters, I've learned that Dads have to take care of a lot of different things. So good she had you at this time.

. I remember being young and without fear just winding up the old Pontiac till the 120 speedometer was buried. Bias ply tires and drum brakes. Rolling thru an intersection about 5 mph standing on the brake pedal real fear was introduced to my life.

Doesn't effect me at all. I'm on top of one of the biggest aquafirs on the planet.

But since you did ask, one of pictures ( pictures are much easier for us ) in that article showed Arizona with the least amount of drought.

And as has been mentioned before, if The Colorado is of concern, we simply turn off the flow to THE COMMUNIST STATE.

Also your post would indicate that rainfall isn't the problem. Mismanagement of natural resources is the problem.

Yeah, but this doom will occur in "hog" time, like the global warming doom.

I'm down between the Napavine Loves and GeeCees, bout 2 miles west of I5. St Helens is about 45 mile east of I5.

I was not here for the last eruptions, News reports showed a blanket of dust this side of the mountain after the second big spew. Yakima got hit pretty hard though. Prevailing winds type thing. I think the volcanoes going off would just be a "pile on" slowing recovery because of dealing with the ash. Death count would go up cause of the skiers/hikers that will get nailed with little if any warning.

More concerned with dams breaking open from either event.

The sound will be changed a bunch. shore lines will change and may loose a few islands. Bremerton Navy yard, Seattle and Tacoma docks, all the bridges and raised highways connecting the Islands, Seattle ball parks, Starbucks corp headquarters....... All that kinda stuff may not be salvageable. Unfortunately the Microsoft campus is most likely too far away and does not have enough high rises for liquefaction to wipe out.

Here's to hoping for a bunch of little quakes rather than a big ripper.

    Both are problems.

Even I can't do much about the rain fall cycles.

The piss poor management and planning is something that needs to be changed.
