Of course they have great vehicle scores! They keep them like ZERO MILE trucks, and charge the lease operators! Nothing like paying for almost a full repaint on a 320,000 mile truck that I ran for 6 months...

you are right on that but also they go through driver like a dog drinkin water so there trucks would be in good shape and there is company drivers that take pride in what there truck looks like so do lease drivers

Would a dollar a mile sound good?
Would 100 miles a week sound better?
Mileage pay is worthless without consistent miles.

71 is not a great score . My carrier has a driver score of 45.24 and vehicle 39.78 . USX has a driver 61.2 and vehicle of 36.69 and that gets them an OPTIONAL ISS-D .
The higher the SEA score the worse the rating is .

Anbody have any clue about how to go about getting a diffrent DM? Hubbys been with CRE for about a year now. We are sick of being in the hole!!!! Thinkng about trying a lease at US Xpress but I really like him to try to stick it out. We can see there is money to be made but how is that possible when your DM leaves you sit EVERY weekend? Then monday morning gives you a 900 mile run for U and you student that delivers thurs day that you cant drop early. Tried calling his DM boss and was told that he cant fire him. Its sucks so bad to see him try so hard and some one eles screw that up. He does EVERYTHING thay tell him to do. Good communication, great gas milage, never turns down a load, never late, most times early. What eles can he do???

Read the writing on the wall.
Y'all's story reads just like countless hundreds of other C.R. England drivers have written. What y'all are experiencing appears to be the norm. After a year of the same ol' -- same ol', what makes you think things will ever change for the better?

It seems y'all crave adversity if y'all are considering a lease at US Express, --- or ANY other truckin' company. Lease programs are great for the company, and an invitation to fail for those who participate in lease programs.
I reckon some folks are destined to do the same thing over and over and over expecting different results, .................. until their efforts finally break the bank and in the end they lose everything. When they attempt to start all over, will they continue trying to make a dollar out of 99 cents?

When the advice generally dispensed in this, and other related threads, is to steer clear of CRE, and if already there experiencing the CRE treatment, to run far away ASAP, what are the chances you'd receive good advice on what to do to improve a hopeless situation perpetrated by the same people at the same truckin' company with the worst reputation in the truckin' industry for notoriously shafting their drivers?

BTW, I'm workin' on a project, --- tryin' to stuff an elephant into a sewing thimble. I'm having a tough time doin' that though, ..... and wonder if any of y'all have any suggestions as to how I might accomplish my goal?
I'm thinkin' that if I treat the elephant real well, it'll be more receptive to my attempts at cramin' it into such a small place. Although, to date, all the elephant has done in return is to stomp on me repeatedly. If that continues, how long will it take for the elephant to get tired of doin' that? :biggrin_2552:

If you won't be negative, quit blaming the others that have tried to stuff an elephant into a thimble, but couldn't, don't give up, and treat the elephant right, I'm sure you can do it.

I'd recommend getting away from leasing altogether, find a good paying company, and go back to being a company driver. Less headaches, less hassle, more money (regardless of what the CRE gross statement shows!)....and you're treated better.
