Most are the same as any other tractor trailer,....12,000 34,000 34,000,...

Some have a heaver front axle,...If that is the case the seller would normally list that as a selling point,.....

Empty weights very,....But somewhere in the 42,500 to 47,000 is close to normal for a sleeper truck,....

Generally a older rig will be heaver,..Most will have had repairs that require extra steel being added,...

do you know what just each of your trailer axles weigh? (6-7k lb each?)

I know the truck is 12K and 38K

My main concern is the trailer because if its only rated for 34K lbs and its axles weigh 14K (7K each) that leaves 20K lbs for cars that doesn't seem like much capacity for 6/7 cars on the trailer.

If the trailer is rated for 34,000 then that's what it is rated for,...

The individual weight of the axle's shouldn't be a concern,..

I dont know for sure what the trailer is rated for because the asset management company that has it doesn't know where the vin plate is. I was just using the rating as an example.

I thought the individual axle weight is important because you subtract the individual axle weight from the axle's rating to get appromately how many lbs you can put on the trailer

If I had to guess the empty weight on that truck and trailer is probably around 44,000lbs or so,..Maybe a little less,.....

It is made to haul a full load of cars,...And it will do that!!!,..
