Where is everyone #5

It was the special tonight. Thought I’d reward myself a little. Negative COVID test on Friday, blood pressure this morning was 124/86, and past my stress test with flying colors today.

 

I got a vested interest in this since I'm basically an out of work bum that can no longer cross the border.

There is a few things that should piss each and every one of us off!

#1. The this is a far bigger event with people from all walks of life and the news will hardly report it. And the reporting there is is of course slanted.

#2. Trudeau tried calling it a terrorist organization so that the 3+ million dollars that has been donated in a go fund me account would be frozen and returned to donators.

 

Exactly. This is more than just a protest against forced vaccination, this is Canada telling Trudeau 2.0 we're sick of him and his BS.

 

I thought that was your bread and butter running up north, what happened?

 

Same here. I know something was messed up with the switch when the pass button thingamabob didn't work so I knew I'd need to replace it anyway. And it's easier to do when it's 10 degrees outside vs a wiper motor.

They sure are proud of them suckers. 300 bucks.

Just a stubborn guy that refuses to do what he's told.
I was deemed essential and vaccine exempt till last week. According to the "government" I'm one of a only a few thousand cross border guys being effected. So we are deemed an acceptable loss...

They gotta keep tightening the screws little by little. Eventually you will be mandated to be fully this or fully that to renew your license.

 

I figured this kinda crap would start going on. I’m just glad all my equipment is paid for and if it comes to not being able to renew my cdl because I’m not vaccinated then it will make it that much easier to get out.

 

Thing that blows me away is people don't just suddenly get covid and die at the wheel. So there is literally zero argument to be made that its in the name of safe operation of a truck.
