How long should a coolant flush take on semi truck?

Man my truck had little remnants of oil in the coolant. All i did was change the coolant out, ran it for about 3 months and saw there was rust in the coolant cap. I took off the hoses to the heater core and coolant lines. Tons of rust all through the hoses!! Now i used the coolant cleaner 3 times/cycles and still some rusty color coming out. Gonna try the cascade method next, i hope this isn’t gonna kill my engine, so #### stressful. Anyone have any experience with this?
