they fail to mention the car aspect that caused those crashes..

Maybe they should outlaw cars and provide buses for eveyone.. that would minimise fatalities..

Also, Rail does not go to the places those tankers were servicing, so how can that subsidy help? oh thats right, guess who has been lobbying for all the benifits for themselves?? and who wants the competition made uncompetitive because in itself, it is not able to be flexible nor time/cost effective??

This issue can be resolved. Give them their subsidy and have them use it to build train tracks to every gas station and loading dock on god's green earth. Hell, I'd rather drive a train any day.
I know this will take some time to implement so in the between time, let's issue every one with a 5 gallon jerry can and have them go to a train company nearby and er filler up.
