There might be a small issue with that after the rolling stop I was hit by a moped operator coming out of the sidewalk. I was ruled not at fault because you couldn't see him on the dashcam. The detective recommended that I try and get it delayed because he is leaving and won't be available to testify

Get it delayed , and hire an attorney .
drivers and future drivers :
Your DL and driving record is your earning potential .
for EVERY ticket , you MUST hire an attorney and have them handle it and get it dismissed or reduced or at the very lease a suspended sentence , which usually means if you don’t get another ticket in that state in 12 months the first ticket is dismissed .
Do NOT plead guilty and pay the ticket .
Not ever .
Once the revenue collection officer writes the ticket , the money is GONE.
Your job is to spend even more money to keep it from showing up on your record , which is done every day in every court by lawyers . -
If you don't have a CDL yet, see if the court will let you take a Defensive Driving course to dismiss. Then don't get another for 12 months.
