It actually up to 5.5. Still room for improvement. My 99 got over 7 consistently. I’m sure you get great fuel economy. I remember you saying before it’s accurate. I thought it would be fun to rattle your cage a bit. Nothing personal. Please don’t mention this to the OM, She has enough to worry about already. My 99s computer wasn’t accurate. Not many were. It exaggerated the higher it got, due to the way it calculated it, I was told. Actual 7 showed 7.5 Actual 7.5 showed 8.5. I had it as high as showing 10 mpg, actual was 8.5, driving it with my foot. Proving to myself I can beat the cruise. I’m not knocking your Cascadia. The real differences are aerodynamics, good for about .5 mpg. Also Idling, good for about 1 mpg. Back then with fuel a whopping $1.00 a gallon, I had to get good MPGs to afford the $1700 payment. Overall 7.2 vs. 5.2 on my old 425 Cat.The difference was about $600 a month back then. Today the difference would be closer to $2000 per mo. Considering I paid $21k for my current Truck 13 yrs ago. Ran it 1.3 mil., had to put a $4200 trans in it, 11 yrs ago. Otherwise normal maintenance, that very very affordable. It’s not a matter of which is best. It’s a matter of what you choose. To realize fuel savings, the miles must be ran. Interestingly, the best Mpg’s Truck I’ve seen, prior to the latest greatest, that is. It was a 1996 Peterbilt 377, a friend had. It got 7.5 day in day out. Loaded heavy, Empty, didn’t matter. It had a 550 Cat with an 18spd. Truck was amazing. It’s all in the aerodynamics, same set up in every 379, struggles to get 6.

Guess I’d better find a load. Sitting here idling for no reason. Hardee’s biscuits and gravy were good as usual. Coffees terrible though. This little town has No Truck signs and rules posted everywhere. Even saw a sign in Town that said “Don’t support panhandlers” Bunch of Haters around here. That’s fine, I’m taking my sign elsewhere. Lots of other corners to stand on.

On the way back from the VA we stopped at a local grocery store and got some things. (well Keri did I sit in my walker up toward the front.) Got some salad fixings and are eating a chicken salad. I was attempting to put some bacon bits on mine but they got intercepted! Keri is being mean to me now!
