there was one driver on the news here that had ONE payment left and the bank hadn't been paid and took his truck. Now that really sucks. he even had the payment slips to prove it and they said OH WELL.

 

There are several lease purchase guys that are screwed.
Was a report by landine mag.
One person has paid his trk. off. Had copy of title. With a letter showing he was waiting for a new copy of title showing lein had been released.
Went to work for another carrier.
Now he can't get title, talked with bank they say it's our trk. as we have no payment records showing you paid us for trk.
Yes you paid Arrow, but not us for the trk..

That’s one of the risks you take with a lease purchase. Not the first or will it be the last time it happens.

 

Arrow "sold" property that didn't belong to them - plain and simple.

The equivalent is like a shady neighbor selling your car, so even if the new "owner" shows "receipts" as paid ... a court has to disregard everything.

Flat out fraud ...

This will take years to sort out, and hopefully everyone involved (executive secretary, VP's, ect) pays their dues.

 

So how many drivers are in the same boat paying for equipment that the carrier doesn't own...And may never own!
