I’ll give them credit for one thing though, apparently their steel didn’t come in on a ship. I was told these trailers possibly could be blems too….

    These were the Witzco trailers…

We pulled that tank with a stock Big Cam 3 Cummins in a 1984 AT64F.

Tank was 11’ tall, 18’ wide, 54’ long, and weighed 83,000 pounds.

Marten steel in Huntington to a plant in Covington Kentucky.

Keep in mind, that’s a regular 45’ spread axle flat on air. Not a lowboy or beam….

He doesn’t work too hard nowadays. That’s what 45 years gets ya — the gravy. Might move a 55-60k machine a time or two on six axles but why work that hard anymore? He sold his four axle last year. Part time retirement.

we all know the old motors can do big weight. We have a 12.7 pulling D9s every week. Accert moving 90k moulding machines.

my X15 is just happy to not have a hole in the block.

I think most of the OEMs used to make gliders. Seems like they disappeared in the 90s. When I was young, I remember Hammer in Defiance having gliders on the lot.

Your truck didn't look that bad the other night. Did you find some weather?

Engine was nice and clean, but that don’t mean anything. Clutch pedal had a lot of drag to it like the grease worms had gotten to it….
