CHP officers in big trouble.

Well they stuck their hand in the cookie jar and got caught. Time to pay the piper. What they did is not right but here is why I feel for them.

Not sure of there situation but we never got paid OT at all. Everything was comp time. No
matter how long you were dealing with a fatality etc. On top of that we worked 7 12 hour days in every 2 weeks. One day we had to come in 4 hours early or late to keep us at 80 hours. When we worked college football games, NASCAR races, horse races it was always on our weekend off and comp time.

Also we had to work 2 separate bike weeks for 7 days and any so add in the other week we worked before we went or after we got back and again anything over 80 hours is comp time.

 

I wonder if any of those bozos worked at the Banning scales. If they did,I’d say karma came full circle!

 

I’m so glad we didn’t mess with DOT stuff. I remember stopping trucks for speeding and when I went up they handed me all sorts of stuff that I could care less about. This was of course before I knew what that stuff was.

Time for a audit with the Fire Dept to , they can retire here at 40 with a gold plated pension with free health care for free till the day you die.

 

I retired at 42 full pension. I think for the pay and bs it’s the least they can do.

 

Especially with the way society views LE now. Thanks for your service, you earned it...
