I live in Toronto i'm a OTR TEAM and I don't really like OTR that much and want to be local in the future, is there decent money to be made as local owner operator? I don't care if I make around $75,000 and $85,000, just want that home time and sleep in bed
Do local owner operators makes good money in Ontario Canada?

Depends who you work for. Local steel brokers gross 150-200 a year running 80-100000 km a year running around the city. Guys that run up to the Soo have bigger numbers but spend more on fuel and maintenance so it's a wash.

Are you talking about brokers that have their own cvor or that are leased on to carriers?

It can be both ways. You generally get 10 per cent more with your own authority. And another 10 per cent with your own trailer.6rider Thanks this.
